The live demonstrations organised at the Logisnext Demo Area in a joint effort with Logisnext Finland, highlighted the future of intralogistics, showcasing a collaborative environment where manual operations and automation enhance each other thanks to our FleetController software, which enables centralised control of the entire fleet, simplifying operations and improving coordination.

Event Highlights 

Event 1: Miten ohjaat resurssien yhteiskäyttöä? / How to manage and allocate tasks in shared operations? (13.11) 

The event was organised in collaboration with LIMOWA and it featured a seminar hosted by Juha Ruotsalainen, Business Director at Logisnext Finland and Heikki Lahtinen, Executive Director at LIMOWA. 

The seminars continued with topics like “How is it possible to efficiently manage the cooperation between AGVs, driver-operated forklifts and other automation” presented by Juha Nyman, head of Logistics Solutions at Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe Oy, followed by the introduction of our FleetController suite and its possibilities for Mixed Fleet operations led by Laura Lehmusto, Software Product Manager at Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe Oy and Matilda Suonpää, Warehouse Logistics Product Manager at Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe Oy. 

The day continued with a live demonstration of what was explained in the earlier discussions. Thanks to our FleetController software, Rocla AGVs and Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks seamlessly worked together and shared tasks.  

The demonstration illustrated the potential for AGVs to work alongside and support manual operations, enhancing efficiency and productivity. Thanks to our cutting-edge software, handling all material flow from one system is possible with Logisnext Solutions. 

Event 2: Kurkistus sisälogistiikan tulevaisuuteen / A glimpse into the future of intralogistics (21.11) 

The second event, organised in collaboration with TechVilla, took a similar approach: in the morning, seminars were held, and the event ended with a visit to the Logisnext Demo Area.  

The event focused on integrating AGVs into existing fleets to boost warehouse process effectiveness. At the Demo Area, Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks and Rocla AGVs demonstrated their ability to share tasks and collaborate efficiently, managed by the FleetController software.  

After Juha Ruotsalainen, Business Director at Logisnext Finland, opened the event, Juhani Tuure, Project Manager at TechVilla, spoke about the leverage and speed gained with robotics solutions projects. Later, Pekka Paavilainen, Warehouse and Logistics Expert at Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe Oy, highlighted the vast possibilities of automation in intralogistics, emphasising the transformative potential of AGVs in shared environments.
